The “Acting Kindly” Giveaway for the International Day of Peace is closed for 2016. The response has been tremendous. We have “Acting Kindly” games being setup by over 100 individuals and organizations in 43 cities in 10 countries around the world. And…that was all organized in only a few weeks! The future is bright.

Thanks to YUVA Unstoppable for being one of the first to embrace the game and playing the first big game here in Ahmedabad. Special thanks to Teach for India who has over 40 of their Fellows running games with their students in at least six Indian metros. Also want to thank the Charter for Compassion and the Compassion Games and looking forward to making “Acting Kindly” part of their wonderful endeavor.

There are moments in life when one wonders, “how the heck didn’t I find that earlier?” That’s exactly what I felt when Todd from Peace Day Austin introduced me to Lesa who told me about the Compassion Games. What an amazing project. You have to check it out at: www.compassiongames.org.

They have five major events every year ranging from three to ten days. In the games “competition becomes coopetition as teams and individuals challenge one another to strive together to make our planet a better place to live through community service, acts of kindness, and raising monies for local causes.”

Their site is full of great ideas about ways to play either as individuals or in teams. There’s a lot there and I highly suggest you dig deep. Next event starting soon are the Global Unity games which start on September 11th and end on the International Day of Peace on September 21st.

The “Acting Kindly” ProtoDecks were recently delivered and I can tell you I was EXCITED. Here’s a short video quickly put together to show the decks. Explainer videos on how to play coming soon. Things are really moving along. Thanks everyone for the support and wonderful reactions to the game.

Things are really picking up momentum now. The “Acting Kindly” on Peace Day event has had a tremendous response and it looks like we may have a lot more than 30 cities participating. Everyday more people contact me to ask what they can do…how they can help. Also really excited about new suggestions about how the game can be used. More on that later.

Yesterday the printer in Mumbai (TMCards) shipped the ProtoDecks with about half going to my mother Bobbi in Las Vegas who has been working hard on “Acting Kindly.” She’ll be distributing the decks in the US for the Peace Day event. The rest of the cards will come to Ahmedabad and I’ll be shipping them all over the world. I’ll do an unboxing video as soon as I have the cards. Very exciting.

The past few days have been amazing. People are really embracing both the “Acting Kindly” game and the International Day of Peace celebration. I’m full of deep gratitude and joy as others are taking charge and starting to spread the word and help to make this all happen. Already getting great traction in Australia, New Zealand, Spain, Germany, Denmark, UK, US and in India. We’ll be reaching out to many more places in the coming days to personal friends, organizations and hoping to reach “influencers.”
